Candlelight...

While it’s the larger things upon which we agree, and our generally aligned world views, that are the solid foundation of the life we’re building together, I am constantly astounded by the small commonalities that we share, as well. Candlelight, for instance. Though it may seem minor, it’s something that seems to hold a very special place for both of us. I told you about my old candlelight Wednesdays tradition, and, since then, I’ve been unable to stop thinking about how I would love to do that with you sometime, just light a bunch of candles and talk, cuddle, and make love in the soft glow. It truly is such a small thing, but I think, in the end, those are what binds us together, fills in the tiny gaps in the walls of our hearts. It’s beautiful, really, to share such things with you. I love you, very, very much, my sweet girl.
