Downtown...
Today, we went downtown together, had brunch, explored the bookstore and chocolate shop, before touring some of the local nature spaces. While we did so, you took pictures, telling me how much the town resembles the places you’re from. I couldn't help but dream of a day when this would so. Having you with me, in the simple, everyday rhythm into which we've so easily fallen, felt so natural and right that it isn't difficult.
I'm going to be with you now, so I hope you'll excuse the brevity of today's missive. I love you, my sweet girl, and I will remain here with you, now and always.
