Morning cuddles...
I'm lying in the cool darkness of the morning, while the rest of the world is largely asleep. I'm only halfway awake, myself, still drifting on the comfortable edge of sleep, and thinking of you.
When you're finally back in my arms, I'm looking forward to mornings with you, waking before you and pulling you close, feeling you snuggle into the warmth of my body, kissing your forehead, nuzzling your neck, my strong arms holding you safe and warm. Then we'll lie quietly in the dark as you touch my face, and I brush the hair from my eyes to kiss you softly, and feel a slow, easy smile on your lips.
Someday, my sweet girl, then forever. I love you, and I'll be right here, now and always.
