On the road again...
I'm back on the road today, heading home to Saratoga Springs, wishing you were with me. My mom passed last night, peacefully in her sleep. You sat with me for hours after it happened, and I love you for that. It's been an exhausting day, in every sense of the word. You're playing with the girls now after a very short sleep, but we're going to talk on your walk after they’ve gone to bed. They started school today, so I'm looking forward to hearing how it went. They were giggling, so I'm guessing it was alright. I love you, my sweet girl.
