You arrived today. I admit that I was…not worried, but concerned that, given all that’s happened since last we met, things may have felt a little off, at first, as we took the time to realign and reconnect. My fears were wholly unfounded, however. From the moment you leaned into my arms, everything became just as it was, deeper, even, for all that we’ve faced and grown closer through. Our love is a beautiful thing, my sweet girl, and seems to become more so with every passing day, with each new difficulty we face. The road may at times be hard, but I wouldn't want to travel it with anyone else. You are my person, my future. I love you, with all that I am, have been, and ever will be in the light of your love.
