Waking up...
I woke up for the first time again without you. Funnily, this has been the hardest part of your absence so far. You did get home safely last night, though, so I was able to sleep as soundly as I ever do. While my world is a little dimmer without you by my side, the horizon is so much brighter for all we shared during your visit, all the plans we discussed for your return and the future, and, most of all, for the knowledge we now share; that we belong, that we are meant for one another, and that we are the future for one another. Thank you for taking this chance with me, my sweet girl. I can't wait to see you and what else lies ahead on this amazing road we're on together. I love you, with all that I am.
